Loading Zones

We had a big success in May with the approval for several additional loading zones on PCH.  These are being installed today (June 3).  Obviously, there is more work to do.  How do we get people to use those spaces?

Additional Loading Zones elsewhere ?

One item of discussion and thought is that with so many people trying to access our beach, can we find some better places to put some additional loading zones?  People have talked about on the far side of the bridge and possibly around the corner by Dizz's. They would revert to normal parking after 5 or 6pm so residents and business could still have the normal use.

ACTION ITEM: (Long term), nothing immediate or urgent but worth looking at, investigating, and thinking about in the long term.

Loading Zone Enforcement?

Part of the success of better loading zones is making sure people use them! And how do we make sure people are not mis-using them?  They are short term during the day but there is no practical way of making sure those limits are adhered to.  Something to work on.
