A LOT of us have small to moderate amounts of hazardous waste like batteries, old TVs, oil, paint, etc.. and it is always a pain to get around to doing something about it. I think eventually, we might be able to do some sort of organized day of pickup with the city or some such thing but right now, I tend to go out to the Hazmat waste site periodically and am usually taking out something from one of my neighbors or the other. Click on the link below if you have something to throw in or maybe are going out yourself and can take an extra paint can, batteri

This is a largely impassable section of unofficial sidewalk. Years ago, there was a temporary asphalt sidewalk put in this stretch but the city can't take over maintaining it because it is CalTrans authority and Caltrans doesn't have anything official on this stretch so they also do not maintain it....
Basically it is up to us. We have all seen all the people running across PCH. And we also need the parking for the residents in the neighborhood. Everybody benefits if we had a passable passage off the street.
Eric Kirkland and I have cleared part of it but it is pretty Heavy going and some additional help could be used!
